WoW Shadowlands: Timewalk Dungeons are only available at level 50 and up

The pre-patch that was released before WoW Shadowlands brings with it a significant change to the level phase. This will impact time-travel events and other aspects. We could only participate in WoW's time-walking events if we had reached the appropriate expansion's level range. What will the future level range look like? We'll be able, thanks to Chromie Time to choose which expansion to level up to Battle for Azeroth’s modified maximum level 50 (equivalent of 120 previously). As a result, time-walking Dungeons will be only available at level 50 in future, as discovered by Reddit users:

This makes sense because leveling in chromie is, in itself, a form time-walking complete and with scaling items. We can't visit the time-walking area of an expansion that we are currently leveling in. Once we reach level 50, and are unable to level in the various expansions, we will be able to access time-travel events - provided they are active.

The timewalking dungeons will not be available until a later patch in Shadowlands. Take a look at the previous releases of the timewalking portals.

WoW Shadowlands will still be released this year despite the short-notice postponement. However, the pre-patch with level squish special events and level squish will be released on October 13, 2020.
