Yesterday, Blizzard published an extensive article on the official World of Warcraft website. It contains lots of information about Bastion. Bastion is one the new lands we will be visiting in the next supplement.

After getting out of Maw, Heroes of Azeroth end up in Bastion. These creatures are shocked that living mortals have found them. Although it appears to be paradise from the outside, there is a problem. Since Sylvana and Jailer, who broke the "death machine", no new souls have made their way to this place in a long time. All souls now go straight to the Maw. The absence of souls indicates that the magical energy, or anima of this place, is running low.

Noble beings who lead souls to Oribos, before the face of an egalitarian Arbiter. Aspirants are new souls who arrive in the Bastion. If they pass the ritual and prove themselves, they will be gifted wings and join the ranks the "Ascended". You will need to prove your worth by performing various tasks in the beginning.

They are beings who have been born from the magic of death and take part in the training for aspirants. They guard Bastion and keep it in order.

Sometimes, an aspirant may not complete the rite. These once bright souls eventually become darkened and lose their way, and they wander aimlessly through Bastion.

Anime-powered entities that train aspirants and protect the land, similar to the Stewards.

These creatures represent the suffering that Kyrians have suffered throughout their lives. They must be defeated by Kyrians, and then they can find peace and tranquility.

The highest level players will be able choose from one of four factions to join an Alliance. Each Alliance offers different abilities to heroes, as well as different powers and cosmetic rewards that can be unlocked by completing a specific campaign. Each Alliance offers a unique Sanctuary that allows players to access.

You will be able to gain two unique abilities if you join Kyrian. The first depends on your class. The second allows you to summon a Creature to help you fight.
You can join the Alliance to receive an ancient ritual. This will allow you to bind your soul with some of the Alliance's most powerful members. This will allow your character to use their power and gain access to many bonuses. For example, in the Alliance with Kyrians, it is possible to bind your soul to that of Uther.
You will be rewarded for your contribution to the Kyrian Alliance with a variety of cosmetic rewards, such as a mount or pet, or armour forged in the Kyrians.

Bastion has been attacked by the forces of Maladraxxus, the land from which Lich King gained his strength. Thirty anime monsters have taken over a temple. To save Bastion from being destroyed, the heroes will have to confront the invaders!

Each instance will have 5 bosses. Available at level 50 (in the new scale). Available in three difficulty levels: Normal, Heroic, and Mythic.
